Open Positions:Worship & Creative Arts Pastor
Position Classification: Full Time
Name of Supervisor: Lito Solorio, Lead Pastor
Purpose of Position: To magnify the one true God through the planning and execution of a Christ-centered, modern, multi-generational worship gathering by use of music, scripture, art, media, and other forms of worship technology. Also to recruit, lead, grow, and develop a dynamic team of musicians, vocalists, and audio-visual technicians, unified in heart, mind, and vision.
Duties and responsibilities:
Maintains a close personal relationship with Jesus.
Encourages spiritual growth in the members of the team (prayer and devotions).
Recruit, plan, and rehearse for weekly worship.
Meet weekly with Lead Pastor/worship planning team to review services.
Directs, recruits, and trains technical areas (sound, lighting, cameras, etc.)
Recruits and trains musicians and vocalists.
Recruits, trains, and empowers leaders.
Partners with fellow pastors and staff to support the overall mission and ministries of the church.
Performs other duties as assigned by both the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor.
Job Qualifications:
Be a Fully Devoted follower of Jesus.
Experience in worship planning, leadership, and team development
Music background is a must.
Experience in video editing and graphic design.
Heart for leading people into a Christ-centered gathering of worship.
