Student Service Project @ Simply Hygiene

The kids at VBS have been collecting supplies to donate to Simply Hygiene this week, and our student ministry will have an opportunity to serve there on Tuesday, July 29. Simply Hygiene is an organization dedicated to making sure that everybody has access to essential hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, detergent to help keep themselves clean and healthy. We will have the opportunity to help them sort inventory. They ask that your student wears closed toe shoes while they serve.

We will meet at the Youth Center at 9AM if your student needs a ride, or they can meet us at 9:50 at Simply Hygiene. We will get done serving at 11:30, and be back the church around noon.

Mark your calendars! Family Sunday is coming up on Sunday, June 29 at 10:00 AM. On this special day, children ages 4 through 5th grade will join their families in the main worship service—a great opportunity to worship and learn together as a church family!

Join us for an evening of enjoying nature and learning about lavender. We will have a short devotion, followed by the opportunity to cut your own bouquet of lavender, some refreshments, and a time to shop in their store. We will leave the church via carpool at 6:00 PM to head to the farm in Douglass and return after sunset.

Pastor Ryan and Miranda are hosting a high school game night at their home on Sunday, June 8 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Bring your friends and a snack to share!

Next Steps is where you can discover what Countryside is all about. In a casual setting, you will learn more about what we believe, our vision, and how we do ministry. You will also meet staff and discover how you can be connected and involved at Countryside. We will provide lunch and child care if needed. Next Steps will be in the Coffee Shop.

Have your middle school students join us for our first pool party of the summer! We'll be grilling and asking them to bring a side to share.

Have your high school students join us as we kick off the summer with a late-night glow swim party! We ask them to bring a snack to share.

Opening Day is Sunday, June 1. Games will be played every Sunday between 1:00 and 8:00 PM.

This weekend we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, the day in which Jesus demonstrated God’s power over death!  We each need to challenge our own view of self-worth and struggles and see how Christ overcomes them all. We want you to invite those you love and hold dear to join us on Resurrection Sunday.

Grab your family, friends, or running buddies and join Countryside for the Annual Easter Sun Run. It is one of Youth Horizons’ largest fundraisers for the year. All proceeds benefit youth in our community through the work of Youth Horizons. If running isn’t your thing—no problem; they also have a walk and/or “just for fun” option. In addition, all registrants will receive a t-shirt. Join our “Countryside Christian” team when you register.

Easter's coming, but we are excited to kick off Easter weekend by reflecting together on a pivotal moment in the Easter story: Good Friday. Our Good Friday gathering will focus on the cross and death of Jesus, which helps us to grasp the significance and triumph of Jesus walking out of the grave on Easter. During our Good Friday gathering, we will share a reflective time of hearing Scripture and singing songs. We encourage you to come and begin your celebration of Easter weekend.
