Lake Day
Lake Day at El Dorado State Park

We will be spending Saturday, September 19 at El Dorado State Park, having a blast with our students. We'll be playing and hanging out at Bluestem Beach there, and we will also have boats to do tubing across the lake. We will leave from the church at 8:30 AM that Saturday. We will be at El Dorado Park throughout the rest of our time, and should be back at the church around 4:30 PM. We will have sandwich supplies, chips, and bottled water for lunch. We have a sign-up waiver that we need filled out for your student by September 14 so we can coordinate rides and make sure we have enough food.

We are so excited to bring our middle school students back to Ozark Christian College for Get Away this year! This year's theme is "Who is Jesus?" We will hear about the Son of God who took on flesh. This is always an awesome event for our middle school students to be challenged and grow in their faith, and we can't wait!
Early Bird Registration ends August 26, and if registered after, the price increases to $50.

Gentlemen, mark your calendars for the 8th Annual StandFirm Men’s Conference. This year's theme, Built Different, will challenge men to build their lives on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and stand strong in a changing world. Join men from across Wichita for a day of biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, and encouragement featuring four pastors from the greater Wichita area. Cost is $25 and includes breakfast, snacks, and lunch.

Join us as we discuss the book “Consider the Lilies” by Jonny Ardavanis and dive into what true peace, found in and through the character of God, can look like in our lives.
Treats, Not Tricks
Treats, Not Tricks! 🎃
Join us for Treats, Not Tricks on Saturday, October 17 from 2:00–4:00 PM at Countryside! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of Trunk or Treat, inflatables, carnival games, lawn games, refreshments, and lots of candy! It’s a free, fun event for our church and community.
We need your help! Our goal is to collect 50,000 pieces of individually wrapped candy to give out at the event. Pick up a bag (or two!) of candy and drop it in the candy collection box in the church lobby.
We also need lots of volunteers to help make the day a success! There are a variety of ways to serve, and you can sign up using the link online.

Middle School Rooted Kick-off
Beginning Sunday, September 13, we will be starting Middle School Rooted groups. This is a 10-week discipleship course designed to help deepen their understanding of God, their desire to study Scripture, and their love for Jesus and others. Books are $15/each.
NBTween Kick-Off
NBTween Is Back!
NBTween kicks off for the semester on Sunday, September 13! All 4th & 5th graders are invited to join us in the Youth Center from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. We’ll eat pizza for lunch, play some fun games, hang out with friends, and jump into our first Bible study of the semester.
NBTween is a great place for preteens to build friendships, have fun, and grow in their faith. We can’t wait to get started!
Biblical Citizenship Kick-Off

Biblical Citizenship is an interactive elective designed to explore the relationship between faith, culture, and America’s founding principles. Through engaging video content filmed in Independence Hall, participants will discover the historical context behind the Constitution, examine fascinating artifacts and stories from the founding era, and engage in thoughtful discussion guided by pastors, historians, and Christian leaders addressing issues impacting today’s culture.
RaphaCon
One of Countryside’s long-time mission partners, Rapha International, is hosting its first-ever RaphaCon in Joplin, Missouri, September 10-11. RaphaCon is a great opportunity for current partners and churches to come together, deepen their commitment to child protection, and be inspired to join the global fight for freedom both here in the US and globally. Cost: $100 + lodging (the convention fee includes breakfast and lunch). If you’re interested in joining us for this convention, please get in touch with Jon Carmichael.

Moms Together: Daytime First Meeting

We are Wichita-area moms of young children (birth-school age) who meet twice monthly for fellowship, food, and community. Childcare is provided for all meetings, including children who are homeschooled. Space is limited, so registration is required. The cost is $30 for the 2026-2027 year.
First meeting is September 9.

Family Sunday
Join us for Family Sunday on August 30 at 10:00 a.m.! Kids ages 4 years through 5th grade will join their parents in the main service as we worship together as one church family. Nursery and preschool will be available for ages 0–3. We’re looking forward to a special Sunday together!
Friday Night Live
Join us for a game night on Friday, August 28 at 6:30PM in the Youth Center! Ages 10 and up. Parents must be present with children under the age of 16. Bring snacks to share. Invite your friends and neighbors!
Hymns Worship Night
Everyone is welcome to join in a hymn sing night in the round, led by Mike Doom, on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:30 PM in the Youth Center.
Color Wars: Kickball Edition
We are so excited to bring back Color Wars this year! Have your student join us for a night of competition, friends, and so much color! We recommend that each student wears a white shirt that they don't mind if it's never white again. Each student should bring a change of clothes as well. It is going to be so much fun, and we can't wait for it to "Kick off"!

Rainforest Falls VBS
Join us for VBS this summer! Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. VBS is for kids entering kindergarten through fifth grade.

COUNTRYSIDE KIDS SUMMER CHURCH CAMP
Calling all young spies! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Kids Summer Camp! This summer, kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade will head to Prairie View Christian Camp in Arkansas City for a mission they won’t want to miss.
Join us as we go undercover to explore the life of Joshua and discover how God gives us courage and strength to overcome obstacles. Through games, activities, and Bible lessons, campers will dive into Operation: Tear Down the Walls—and have a blast doing it!
Register beginning April 1, 2026. Make sure you mark that you are attending with Countryside and use the grade you will be entering in Fall 2026.
