Weekend to Remember

Discover Countryside
Haiti Relief Fund
Countryside is continuing to reach out to help the people of Haiti after the massive earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince on January 12. We are planning to ship some of the basic needs of those left homeless by the devastation. Countryside will be collecting the following items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, bandages (gauze, Ace, etc.), antibiotic cream, small bags of rice, small bags of dry beans, and small containers of peanut butter. You may drop off your donations at the table located in the foyer through Sunday, February 7. We will continue to accept monetary donations in the weeks ahead to send directly to HCM for their relief efforts and to offset the cost of shipping. Please make your check payable to Countryside Christian Church and indicate “Haiti Relief Fund” on the memo line.

Help Wichita Area Schools
At the beginning of the school year several organizations collect and distribute school supplies for the needy. But by February the crayons are broken, the glue is dried up, and the paper has run out. If you would like to help supply those kids for the rest of the school year, please bring your donations and put them in the collection box located at the Kid’s Ministry booth near the Chapel entrance. We are collecting pencils, crayons, reams of paper, glue sticks and dry erase markers.
