Countryside Christian Church

Countryside Christian Church is an independent Christian Church. We are governed by our local leadership that is comprised of duly elected elders. All the activities and expenses of our church life are underwritten by the freewill tithes and offerings of our church family and we actively support many mission ventures throughout the world.

Our regular activities are enhanced with a wide-ranging list of fellowship and learning opportunities throughout the year. Every summer our Vacation Bible School touches the lives of hundreds of local children and our summer church camps and trips enrich the lives of our older youth. There are special banquets, retreats and seminars open to members and visitors that speak to special needs and provide fellowship opportunities. Our adult choir is one of the finest in the city and we are always looking for additional people interested in using their musical talents for the Lord.

Countryside is a happy and warm church and we are excited about what God has in store for us as we continue to live for Him.

Headlines

The Next Generation group is heading to Kansas City on July 25-26. This is a great opportunity for a short getaway and also to be introduced to the group. We’ll head to Legends, Villiage West Mall, catch a Royal’s game, stay in a hotel, and attend church on Sunday morning.

True Student Ministries BIG Summer Conference

You still can sign up for the BIG Summer Conference! Just fill out a registration form located at the Youth Booth or at the Parents’ Correspondence table by the chapel, and return it to Alex Gilpin along with your $30 deposit as soon as possible.

We are offering the same deal as last year: bring two friends who don’t already attend Countryside and we’ll knock off $50 from their total cost.

This year’s speaker is Kevin Greer, Ozark Christian College professor. He is a dynamic speaker who has impacted the lives of teens around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are very excited to have Kevin join us this year at our summer conference.
